Flush Mount Ceiling Lights

Flush mount light fixtures come in a pretty wide variety of styles. Along with those style differences come differences in price. Some of the most simple of these fixtures cost less than twenty dollars, while some of the more stylish can cost a few hundred dollars. Along with that higher price tag you will generally get a fixture of higher quality in terms of both construction material and looks.

That twenty dollar price tag will get you the most basic of fixtures. This usually means a flush mount globe light fixture. For a little more money, but still priced relatively low, you can get something with a little more substance to it, like the fixture shown to the left. This is the kind of fixture commonly used in an entry way or hallway. They throw off more than an adequate amount of light for those small areas, and add to the style of the area without being to bulky.

As you go up through the different price points of flush mount fixtures, you obviously get more in the fixture as the price increases. The fixture to the left is available for just under forty dollars. It has a brushed nickle finish and alabaster glass. This fixture holds two light bulbs up to 60 watts. This is one of the more popular types of fixtures because it is still priced reasonably, but has a more stylish look than some of the more basic fixtures. This is a good middle ground for this type of fixture.

When you get above the fifty dollar price point, there is a pretty big jump up into the larger and more expensive flush mount light fixtures. The fixture shown to the left is obviously much more elaborate and detailed than the first one or two at the beginning of this article. It has an antique white finish and also features pink roses along with crystals with a rose hue to them. This fixture holds to 3 light bulbs of 60 watts. The fixture is ten inches tall, 19 inches wide, and has matching table lamps and chandeliers available. It is a very feminine fixture, which may limit you in the location for its placement. There is no denying that in the right location this would be a very beautiful light fixture.

In the same price range as the previous fixture, the one shown to the left is obviously very different. It will fit into many more locations in terms of style, yet still has a classy look of crystal throughout the fixture. This unit holds two light bulbs, and is finished in a golden bronze. Smoked crystals and beads fill the channels and ribs of the fixture, catching the light and showing off their beautiful coloring. This is a very stylish, yet still affordable flush mount ceiling light.
